No no, go ahead and bitch it out loud, x., it's all part of the process.

Just think: when you have reached the end of this journey through Stygia, you will have more money to spend on things that will make you fatter, judging by the fate of most of my now-quit friends. So congratulations and buy yourself a scale so we can hear you go on and on about that, too.

You could always quit the way my grandfather did: tied to a machine in the intensive care unit with tubes in his lungs pumping out the obsidian tar.

is the ritual of lighting and slipping the cigarette into your mouth the hardest thing to let go of, perhaps you should change only what your lungs do with the smoke by not inhaling.

from the desk of LO at April 27, 2004 09:24 AM

well, that's a nice thought, but my lungs want to inhale that shit. Lighting up and just huffing smoke, never to inhale it, is as pointless as smoking itself now is. So, no, I won't be re-teaching my lungs anything except what it's like to breathe without a veil of pollution running interference.

Sometimes I have heard portabello mushrooms referred to as "the poor man's steak", which really doesn't make sense, as they are usually only sold in ritzy stores, and are kinda pricy. But very steak-like in quality.

my mom told me that and my mom don't lie, despite what the fritchconnicks would have you believe with their mocking laughter.

3rd is the worst, 4th is slightly better, not a whole lot of improvement after that. Into my 11th day, if it's anything like the the snow it'll take years before it's gone for good... God grant us both a whole lot of luck... I'm thinking on taking up heroin
