this is a sick day
Home sick today. Half-watching the newest Bond film. Drinking ginger ale with real ginger (thanks kelly sue) and doing rewrites and research and reveling in my sloth. I feel guilty for some reason, or maybe that's just massive dread at how much time I'll have to spend at work tomorrow to play catch-up. I did get two Pitch articles written and plan to do the legwork on the third one by the end of today. I'll also write a few record reviews and maybe some odds and ends occupying my thought drift today. Might as well make good use of my friendly stomach parasite.
Speaking of which:
His scrotal exam was significant for two distinct furuncular lesions with a central pore. One located mid-raphae and the second on the right hemiscrotum. No fluctuance, however bloody discharge could easily be expressed with gentle pressure. The lesions measured approximately 1.5cm x 1.0cm. The patient had both lesions surgically excised revealing two live Human Botfly larvae.
