closing the loupe

one of my more regular stopping points as far as blogs go was the loupe. it was well done, well-written and its simple but busy layout was a big virus of thought that shaped my redesign. so after a couple weeks away, i clicked on it and it was gone.

the whole fickle nature of the inertnet is its best asset and most frustrating aspect. one day a whole year, several years, of work can vanish in a moment and people can just sort of blink out of existence. having just lost and regained the last 8 months of thoughtpeach, it's a bit more relevant than ever.

but, as far as endings, it's a pretty good way to go.

Commentary:

Hey. I ran the loupe for a couple years, and just ran across your site while looking at some referral links to my site. Thanks for the kind words. I'll keep checking back, and if I ever do anything with my webspace, I'll let you know.
